This full day tour is for those who want a completely unique experience of the culture and local life in Zanzibar.

Here you will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and returned home in the late afternoon.

This is a tour to one of the most authentic and exciting villages on the island, where you will be guided by our guide who was born and raised in the village. He will show you around the area, show you how his family lives and much more. You will also get to see some of the largest baobab trees on the island.

Then you will go to a local herbalist and doctor who deals with herbs and alcohols. You will learn how he helps the locals through herbs and rituals.

Your lunch will be served at a restaurant on stilts with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Here you have time to swim and enjoy the beach.

PLEASE NOTE: Women must cover their shoulders and knees, and men must cover their upper body when walking around the village, out of respect for the culture.
