We invite you on an amazing trip to Prison Island and Nakupenda Island. Both islands are located close to each other, making them an ideal option for a full day trip.

The day will start with a cruise to Prison Island, home to giant land tortoises. The trip gives you the unique opportunity to walk among the tortoises and feed them greens. There is also an old prison building that has never been used. It has now been converted into a small café with a viewpoint.

The next stop on the tour will be Nakupenda Island, whose name means “I love you” in Swahili. It is one of the most beautiful sandbanks in Zanzibar. You can expect chalky white, powdery sand under your feet and crystal clear sea. The water here is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and if you are lucky, you may see dolphins.

During the trip, cold drinks will be served and you will have the opportunity to taste all the seasonal fruits available in Zanzibar. A Swahili-Arabic dinner will be served on the sandbar.
