On this full day tour to Jozani Forest and Stone Town, you will be picked up from your hotel in the morning. The tour will start with a visit to Jozani Forest where your guide will take you through the beautiful rainforest. In the forest you will find rare colobus monkeys that are only found in Zanzibar. Jozani Forest also offers countless species of plants, birds and much more. You will be joined by an experienced ranger who will eventually show you the mangrove forest, accessible via wooden walkways. The proceeds from the visits go towards the conservation work of the rainforest and support the local community.

The tour continues with a visit to the historic capital of the island: Stone Town. Our local guide will take you through the charming, labyrinthine streets where you will see mosques, temples, the Sultan's Palace, the famous spice market, the Zanzibar coffee shop and much more. You will have the opportunity to have lunch on the oldest and highest rooftop in Zanzibar (lunch not included).

This day is a must if you are curious about the culture and history of Zanzibar. You decide how long your trip should be and how much you want to see.
