Chumbe Island Coral Park is an award-winning private nature reserve and one of the last remaining pristine coral islands in the area. It is home to many rare and endangered species of animals that are protected here.
The island features a fully protected coral reef reserve and forest reserve, a visitor center and educational nature trails, historical ruins, and eco-bungalows for overnight guests.
During your stay, you can learn about marine life, forest life, and nature reserve from professional guides.
An experienced guide and professional marine biologist will take you on the most beautiful snorkeling trip you have ever had. The almost pristine reef is home to over 400 species of fish, over 200 species of coral, turtles, friendly sharks, and more. Upon return to the island, a delicious lunch is served, during which you will have the opportunity to discover delicious Swahili cuisine.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach, using the living spaces at the education center and on the island, or taking a guided walk.
As this is a protected marine area, the number of guests on the island is limited to a maximum of 14.
Bookings for day trips can only be made if there are any available spaces in the cottages.
The return boat leaves Chumbe Island at 4:30 PM.
